1980's
Our first dog was schipperke male Suojan Twister, who introduced us to show rings and training fields. Crown to his show career came 1994, when he went BIS4-veteran in Pori all breed show. In addition to that he was 9 times Bob-veteran showing his best after celebrating his 7th birthday.
Päivi started her career as trainer in local working dog association. She was trained to teach obedience and in late 1980s she got to know a new dog sport landing to Finland - agility.
Although schipperkes still have special place in our hearts, we decided, that our next dog would be more suitable for working trials. After many years and at least as many change of minds (yes, in 1992 Päivi was heard to say, that we'd get a larger dog any other breed than collie) it finally came time to move on in our 'dog life'.
1990's
In 1993 one dream came true, when we got our first collie. we had decided to take a tricolour female, but luckily our 'little Pirate' came to our life and hearts inspired by his uncle Mickey (Markhill's Misty Moon-Shadow 2xCac).
After being almost ten years an active member and member of board in local working dog association Päivi was ready for new challenges. She was voted first to board member and later chairman of the board in Finnish Collie Association's Satakunta Subsection.
After loosing Twisti in only ten years of age to a serious illness, we decided that it was time to get another collie. So came Romeo, Rosvo's younger brother, in 1995.
In 1996 our first litter was born out of Fin Ch Jk1 Sandiacre Sweet Music Man - Friby'n Miss Elysee (Cac, owner Kirsti Jokinen). Again there was a change of plans - all puppies were sable, although we both are more tricolour- and blue merle fans.
In 1998 Lola moved to live with us and took her place as the leader of our gang immediately.
2000's
Although Romeo finished his Cac-hunt in 2000, the true show years were yet to come. And so were Lola's. They both have been shown at least ten times a year after 2001 and they enjoy it more than ever.
After withdrawing from all confidential posts in dog associations, we had more time than before to our dogs. So we started to plan getting a new puppy. Time went by and we didn't find many combinations fitting our plans. If there were one, there weren't any blue merle bitches in the litter or they were all sold when we contacted the breeder. In this situation came 4-year-old Sina in winter 2003.
In middle of all this consideration in spring 2002 came Hugo, but he lives with Suvituikun rough collies and is taken care by Seija, so he didn't ease the pressure to get a new puppy.
Everything doesn't always go as planned and in autumn 2003 we noticed, that we were growing up two puppies almost same age. Romeo's daughter Jawa has already managed to get few Cacibs and Cacs from the shows, and we hope that our import from Israel Joy will follow her lates. Both youngster have the magnificent 'Kirva', who's the mom of our old boys, in their pedigrees.
Year 2006 started in very contradictory feelings, we accepted the offer to buy Tutti (Joy's 3/4-sister from Israel, lives with her other owner Jaana) and we had to say goodbye to Sina in February. Our gang is waiting for a new member. In autumn we got the ownership of Lola's granddaughter Mutu, who's placed with breeding terms. In spring 2007 Joy's and Tutti's mother Lulie arrived in Finland, but this didn't cure our "puppy fever". From our Manica-litter we kept Itu, who'll start her show career with older merle girls next year.
